Lake Seminole Cabin Pre-Booking now agreed that Lake Seminole
tournament will be Feb 23-24. Cliff will book now so the
cabins are locked in.
New By-Laws ratified:
College Student Membership:
College students who are members will be granted a discount
rate to fish in the club. Students may fish as their academic
schedule permits and at a rate of 1/11th of the
annual dues paid for each tournament fished.
Guest Fishing: Members are
permitted to bring a guest who is not a Prospective Member to
fishing tournaments provided that said guest does not exceed
participation in more than one event in a year and
provided all non-boater members are able to fish in a
remaining boat for that tournament. Guests will be required to
sign a Hold Harmless Agreement and pay the same rate as a
Prospective Member would pay.
New BoD advance meeting December 16 to create 2008 Schedule for Club
Review at Jan meeting.

Forecast should have around $700- $800 left in the bank at
the end of the year after Andy breaks the Lunker at
Guntersville.
Lunker Update
If broken at Guntersville, the payout will be $2,165.00.
Andy will want his cash immediately so he can treat all
members to a lobster & steak dinner on the way back.

Qualifier at Lake West Point in Oct 13- 14, 2007 Sat & Sunday.
We have a free ticket for this at a $400.00 value. Tentative
team members are: Ronnie H. NB; Donnie H. (Boater); Tom
N (Boater); Andy T. Boater (tentative); Mike B. NB (tentative)
and a TBD.
Several of
these team members are tentative so it is wide open to any one
that wants to go.
This
is just the qualifying tournament - the top 25 teams and the
top 12 individuals will advance to the Top Six state
tournament next spring in 2008.

Baby N Crank Baits on Rip Rap and Spot Stickers seemed to be
the pattern.

duties to include a master worksheet. It appears as if we
will have around at least 7 members (Mike, Andy, Tom, Jim B,
Jim N, Cliff (TBD) & Mark there to help out. Some of the
other major ideas that will be integrated this year will be:
likely earlier start time; flights by the three age groups;
porta potty thru City of PTC; members to perform runner duties
for Cliff before and right up until event (Cliff to identify
who, what & by when); Kiwanis support especially on picture
taking; better PA; definite sign in procedure to include name
tags for picture interpretations. Cliff to make the call on
T-Shirts based on sponsorship level. Club to contribute
$300.00
and Mike contacted Gerry Healy for FLW/GBCF
sponsorship but they are unable to help out.

year will be a lot tighter with reduced membership now from
recent LOAs. Encouraged members to seek out good
candidates for future membership & may not be able to
prepay Guntersville cabins dependent on cash flow.
