A Win For Ward A quest for cool temperatures and smallmouth bass took the club to Lake Blue Ridge for the June tournament. The fishing was tough in the clear water, but there were some fish caught. Mark Ward weighed in a pair of smallies and won the tournament with 3.79 pounds. He also had a nice walleye—something we don't see too often. Second went to Eddie Privett who had a solo 3.69 pound smallmouth that took the big fish pot. Mike Brunett had a pair of smallies that weighed 3.93 pounds and would have won the tournament if he could have kept them both alive. A dead fish penalty of 0.30 pounds bumped him back to third place. Tom Nicodemus had a solo fish that weighed 1.30 pounds and rounded out the top four. |

Nicodemus Limits At Lake Sinclair Tom Nicodemus had a limit of bass and a total weight of 6.84 pounds, including the big fish of 3.21 pounds. Scott Ebetino finished second with 3 fish that weighed a total of 5.34 pounds. The rest of the club had solo fish.
