Fayette County Youth Fishing Rodeo
The fifth annual Fayette County Youth Fishing Rodeo took
place on Saturday, May 20 at the Luther Glass Park in Peachtree City.
49 youngsters participated in the free event which was
organized by the Peachtree City Bass Anglers in conjunction with the
Peachtree City Recreation Department and the Southern Conservation Trust.
The kids were divided into three age groups and competed
for awards for the most weight, biggest fish and smallest fish. Several
door prizes were given away, and every child and parent received a free
t-shirt.

Ages 5-7
The gift cards were
purchased by the Peachtree City Bass Anglers. The event wouldn't be
possible without help from our sponsors. We were fortunate enough to
have received generous donations of fishing rod/reel combos, tackle
boxes, fishing tackle, drink coolers and tumblers. Every child won a
door prize.

Special thanks to Spacewalk of Peachtree City for
providing a spacewalk for the kids to play in while taking a break from
fishing.
